Rockfall Netting

Rockfall netting is a specially designed woven tensile mesh that is utilised to stabilise slopes. The mesh is usually draped over unstable rock faces or freshly constructed batters to provide long term stable support. Rockfall netting is used in conjunction with soil nails and rock dowels as a means of securing the mesh to the unstable structure and to also transfer load from the mesh back to competent material beyond the unstable face.

Additionally the mesh can be incorporated with a geotechnical blanket that is installed prior to assist with revegetation of the batter to eliminate erosion beneath the blanket.
